Secret of My Life

Hello Bloggers’ for Today’s One-Word-Inspiration I chose the Word “Secret” and wrote a song with it. It was quite challenging to me, So I do hope that you like my effort!

20 years passed since I was born
8 years since I painted the first dawn
With my words, with my light

Chaos has filled worlds to its edge
In the middle the world this is my stage
For I listened to the beating heart of mine

We all have stories to tell
Who am I? well that’s a secret
For I’ve hidden myself in the most unlikely places

Do you belive in magic?
Do you have glitter in your eyes
To find the secret of mine?

Try to steal me, try to love me
My heart will melt like light falling on ice
But my secrets, they will die with me
For that’s the secret of my life

Two can keep a secret
But a third one will divulge it
So I’m not telling my cries

For the Secrets of mine
Are like sands of time
They have the power to love me or to tell me goodbye

Wait till the lights go down
Turn me up, Turn me down
Tell me what’s on your mind

If there’s a storm on your life
I’ll be your shelter for the time
But in the mean time, please don’t ask the secret of mine

I am the result of what better left unspoken
I am the son of heart left alone, broken
So don’t ask me, why I wanna hide

Just remember to fight
For that’s the secret of life
